Grace Casola is the Human Resources Manager for Tolosa Winery. She has worked in human resources for over 4 years, with a specialization in the hospitality industry. Casola strongly believes there is a necessary shift from seeing human resources as the terminator and viewing the role as the biggest encouragement for employees.
Sarah Davis developed Trust Automation’s Trust Children Center. She has been working with children for 25 years, starting as a Special Education Assistant at 18. Davis lives in Arroyo Grande with her husband, two daughters and dog and enjoys cooking, gardening and going out to eat with her family.
Hali Diaz is the Senior HR Generalist with RRM Design Group. She has been working in the Human Resources industry for 18 years. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she began her career in Hospitality and transitioned to RMM Design Group in 2022.
Merideth Eades is the Early Childhood Director at SLO Classical Academy. Meredith spent her early years in Southern California but, for the last 30 years, has been calling the Central Coast ‘home’. Merideth has a B.S. in Human Development (Psychology and Child Development) from Cal Poly. Before coming to SLOCA 8 years ago, Merideth was a Reading Recovery and First grade teacher at a local school.
Brenda Enney is the Director of Human Resources and Community Life Director at San Luis Obispo Classical Academy. She is in her third year in this position and a long-term parent of children at the school.
Misty Epperson has called the Central Coast home for over 20 years! Epperson made a career change and began working in the Human Resources field in 2015 and found her passion. In 2018, she earned her SHRM- Certified Professional certification. She is the Human Resources Business Partner for Entegris and currently serves as Current Past President of the Human Resources Association of Central Coast.
Sam Gottlieb is privileged to act as Lumina Alliance's Chief People & Culture Officer. He is particularly proud of his and the department's role in building the exceptional workplace culture that has grown since the agency's inception in 2021, when RISE and Stand Strong merged into a single organization. Sam currently resides in North County and enjoys playing the ukulele at his giant black cat, Kingsley.
Julie Kauffold is the Director of Human Resources with Firestone Walker Brewing Company and has spent the last 25 years (this month) as a human resources professional. Her specialty is employee relations and all things that are considered the “tough stuff.” She In her off time, she and her husband facilitate a recovery program in the north county. San Luis Obispo County has been her home for most of her life and she wouldn’t have it any other way! She holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification, and is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Stephanie Nute is a Human Resources Analyst for the County of San Luis Obispo. Supporting a variety of different departments, Stephanie has extensive experience balancing organizational and employee needs, all while keeping a Family-Friendly Workplace in mind. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Cal Poly and is certified as a SHRM -Senior Certified Professional. As a new mom of a 1.5 year old, Stephanie has benefited from the Family Friendly Policies that the County has in place and is an advocate for helping other organizations adopt similar policies.
Leslie Mehigan works with the Central Coast Breastfeeding Coalition. Mehigan is a public health professional and internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant with wide experience educating professionals and the general public to execute, accomplish, and protect current infant health recommendations.
Angela Toomey is the Director of Human Resources at Morris and Garritano. She has a BS in Psychology, is HIPPA certified and is a Certified Compensation Professional from World at Work. Along with over two decades of experience in the Human Resources field, she is passionate about achieving organizational growth and development by getting the right people into the right jobs at the right time.
